Stainless Steel Tubs & Animal Baths
Cleaning Instructions
- Clean your stainless steel tub or animal bath weekly.
- Always apply stainless steel cleaner/polish with a non-abrasive cloth or sponge, working with the grain, not across or against the grain.
- Do not use steel wool or wire brushes to clean.
- After cleaning, be sure to rinse thoroughly and remove all traces of the cleaning agent.
- Never leave rags or foreign matter in tubs overnight.
General Product Information
- Most stainless steel products will scratch or mark with common everyday use. These scratches will blend over time to create a unique finish and do not represent any defect in material or craftsmanship.
- Stainless steel is a common nickel/chromium/iron alloy and, as such, there is the possibility that over time and with the introduction of other elements, surface rust may appear. Other elements can include but are not limited to: dirt, sand, metals other than steel or iron or other foreign materials. Surface rust can be easily removed using a cleaning pad and a stainless steel cleaning agent such as the “Bar Keeper’s Friend” – both of which are included in your product packet.
- All PetLift tubs are fabricated from 16 gauge, high quality 304 grade stainless steel.
- Tubs are welded, finely crafted, and front panels are double reinforced to provide years of use and service.
Electric Motor Tables
Care and Cleaning
- Keep table frame and all components clean and free of moisture.
- When not in use, table should be stored in the fully lowered position and unplugged.
- Clean the table top regularly to maintain look and luster. Using a soft bristle brush, clean with a 50/50 mixture of vinegar and water.
- After surface is clean and all debris is removed, use a household furniture polish to add shine and additional protection.
Troubleshooting
Issue: The table will not go up or down.
Suggestion: Check all cables to ensure that they are securely plugged in. Start with the main power cord, then check the component cables plugged into the control box. The control box is located at the top of the Z-Frame just below the table top.

The MasterLift Low Rider Electric Tables are specifically engineered with a “plug and play” system for easy serviceability. In many cases, if individual components fail outside of warranty coverage, replacement parts can be purchased and installed without having to replace the entire table or electronics.
Hydraulic Pump Tables
Care Instructions
- Every 60 days, pump the hydraulic unit all the way up and all the way down at least 8-10 times. Many groomers work in a limited height range which prevents the pump shaft and seals from getting optimum lubrication. Ensuring lubrication on a regular basis will greatly add to the longevity of the pump.
- Never lift or move a hydraulic table unless the pump is in the LOCKED position. If the table top is manually raised while the pump is not in a locked position, it increases the risk of a broken seal, allowing air to enter the pump.
- Clean the table top regularly to maintain look and luster. Using a soft bristle brush, clean with a 50/50 mixture of vinegar and water.
- After surface is clean and all debris is removed, use a household furniture polish to add shine and additional protection.
Troubleshooting
Issue: Squeaking noise when pumping.
Suggestion: Apply grease to the rotating or sliding parts. Remove the (4) set screws setting the yoke and treadle, slide pedal pin out of top casting, and apply grease to rotating pin. When re-assembling, make sure all screws are fully tightened.
Issue: Pump will not stay in “up” position.
Suggestion: Pump the table all the way up and keep pumping an additional 3-4 strokes after the table has reached full height. This will bleed the air out of the unit. Lower the table as far as it will go and repeat the process 2-3 times.
